Enjoy web cam watching from our recently re-designed UKwebcameras webcam directory. For eight years we’ve been featuring the best webcams that are operating in the UK and Ireland. We were the first dedicated webcam directory featuring English cams, Scottish web cams, live cams in Wales and the best webcams that are available throughout Ireland. Since launching the UK’s and Ireland’s first and most established free webcam directory on November 1999, we have featured over 450 free cams that are operating in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. All cams featured are free to view webcams. With broadband now nearly being readily available throughout the UK and Ireland, the quality and the speed of many of today’s webcams have greatly improved. In 1999 many cameras were lucky to be able to update their images once every 20 minutes, while in 2007 more and more web cams are now live video streaming cameras. Making the webcam content dynamic and getting close to live television quality. Who knows what these web pages will look like in another ten years, maybe we will all be on 100Mb fibre links and video streaming HDTV to each other!!!
